Progynist has been implementing USAID-funded health promotion and HIV prevention programs for orphan and vulnerable children (OVC).
Since 2012, in partnership with Mary Joy-Ethiopia, we have dedicated resources to improve the lives of OVCs and their caregivers.
Our focus is on health promotion, HIV/AIDS prevention, and access to safe, quality health services.
We work with communities to protect children from infection, stigma, and neglect.
Our services reach OVCs and key population caregivers in Central Ethiopia, including Butajira and Hosaena.
In South West Ethiopia, we deliver life-changing support in Mizan, Bonga, and Tepi.
Through local partnerships, we strengthen community care structures for vulnerable families.
Our programs provide education on HIV prevention, testing, and treatment access.
Progynist empowers families with knowledge and services to break cycles of poverty and illness.
We envision healthy, resilient communities where every child can thrive free from HIV and discrimination.
